{Homeschool} The Toymaker

I wasn’t really sure whether to put this post under parenting or homeschool, since I think it could easily be both. The Toymaker has become one of our most favorite sites for printable activities.

I discovered The Toymaker while searching for some activities to do with the kids over Christmas Break. I fell in LOVE with all of the gorgeous designs she has for everything from greeting cards, to make-your-own gift boxes, to amazing paper toys like these beautiful little birds Naomi made a few weeks ago:

The projects are relatively simple; they mostly include cutting with a little folding and gluing. William needs a little help with some of the steps, but Naomi can easily handle almost all of the projects on her own. She made this delicate butterfly card for my inlaws recently:

The tabs on the side gently pull the butterfly’s wings to give the impression of them fluttering delicately.

Wil was also enthralled with this dinosaur card, which he made for Grandpa. The mouth opens and closes:

We are excited to try Bunny Bowling next and maybe even some paper dolls!
