Well hello there! I’m returning to the blogosphere this week. Did ya miss me? I certainly did miss blogging, although I know the break was needed and healthy. I’ve got some fun things lined up for this month and I’m looking forward to sharing them with you. For today, though, I thought I’d just give you a glimpse of our menu from last week. It was our first week of homeschool and Naomi’s second week of middle school (?!?!?), so the emphasis was on quick and simple.

Surf & Turf Kabobs with garden produce and Garlic Naan (This was our big weekend meal to celebrate surviving the week!)

We had a wonderful, much needed family camping trip last week. I genuinely love cooking while we camp. My kids say that everything seems to taste better when you’re camping, and I think I agree.
So, here’s what we ate during the camping trip, as well as the last few days of the week at home:

Toast, eggs, sausage, and the last of our Puerto Rican coffee (Brian had a bout of insomnia and used it to make this smashing breakfast for all of us!)
